Reason for upgrade :
The gooding performance in low lit condition makes this the best candidate followed by K-01or the recent release by Pentax which is the K-30. It delivers excellent IQ. Natural colour reproduction is Pentax's plus. Not being promoted like their rivals doesn't leave those who have experienced legendary moments
with the ol' takumars in vain. The legacy carries on with K5's excellent performance.
Lense: Tamron SP AF 17-50mm f/2.8 XR (Pentax Mount)
This lense is a must own for any beginners regardless of their body. Serves as a wide and excellent for portraits as well. Gives f 2.8, 17mm till 50mm is a plus for any condition. Its also pocket friendly as you don't need to fork out a lot bucks to get a multipurpose lense.
Lense: Pentax SMC-DA* 50-135mm f/2.8 ED [IF] SDM
This lense is well known for its upside and downside. Sharp and crisp images are not a total stranger to this lense users. SDM issues are shooting stars. You might read about it but some might not even experience it. This lense costs me a month's pay to be exact. Well its a WR (weather resistant). Price might seems to be a bit loud but worth owning one.
